Esteban Cambiasso refused to comment on the ongoing saga between Mauro Icardi and Inter whilst he was a guest on Sky Calcio Club.
One of his fellow guests asked him for his thoughts on the delicate situation to which he replied: “I have heard things, I have read things but I do not what has happened and not knowing and being the responsible person that I am, I could ever answer you.”
Icardi was last month stripped of the Inter captaincy after months of public tension between himself, his wife/agent Wanda and the club.
He has not appeared since losing the armband and is officially out with a knee problem even though Inter’s tests have shown there is nothing wrong and he has been cleared to play.
The 26-year-old Argentine’s future at the club remains up in the air and various reports in the media in recent weeks have suggested that the parties will go their separate ways come the end of the season.
