Daniele Padelli has spoken on being inspired by the Inter shirt as part of an interview with the official Inter match day programme for this evening’s match against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.

“I was always inspired by the idea of pulling on the Nerazzuri shirt as a youngster,” he explained.

“Every Inter goalkeeper I watched when I was growing up was my idol. While I also idolised Il Fenomeno Ronaldo.”

The Italian also spoke on what it feels like to play at San Siro.

It excites me and I think our pre-match song represents us best.”

Padelli, who has made one appearance this season, concluded the interview by speaking about one of his hobbies in the shape of collecting football shirts.

“I have a passion for football shirts, I’ve been collecting them since I was little. One of the first I have received was that of Aberdeen , a Scottish team. A really nice shirt.”
