Former Milan player Kaka has shared his thoughts ahead of tonight’s Milan derby in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport and he firstly gave his prediction for the game.

“Milan will win the Derby. I predict goals from Piatek and Paqueta,” he told the Milan based newspaper.

He then went on to discuss Inter striker Mauro Icardi’s continued absence.

“I know little about the situation and I won’t go too much into it but Maurito is a player who can change games.

“In a world dominated by social media it is difficult for players to manage themselves but they must be able to separate their personal life from their career. Icardi is an important player for Inter.”

The Brazilian then spoke on the possible rise of the Milanese clubs back to the top.

“It’ll take time, but we can talk about a Renaissance of Milanese football. Inter already got back into the Champions League, even if it didn’t go very well, while Milan are currently third in Serie A.”
