Andrea Ranocchia and Inter are soon expected to come to an agreement over a contract extension with the club according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Inter have offered the Italian centre back a two year extension to his current contract that is due to expire at the end of the season while he is instead understood to be after a three year deal.

Once Ranocchia’s renewal is out of the way, the Nerazzurri will then turn their attention to back-up goalkeeper Daniele Padelli and reserve goalkeeper Tomasso Berni with both of their deals also set to expire in a matter of weeks.

Padelli has been with Inter since the Summer of 2017 and has acted as deputy to current number one Samir Handanovic. Berni meanwhile made a return to the club – where he came through the youth ranks – in 2014 on a one year deal and has continued to sign a one year extension each Summer.
