Italian football pundit Alessandro Canovi has criticised Mauro Icardi’s wife, and agent, Wanda for the way in which she openly speaks her mind in the media.
Wanda’s outspoken nature means she is never far from controversy and it has led to many questioning the dual-role she has in the career of the 26-year-old and the way in which she carries herself.
A regular panellist on weekly Mediaset show Tiki Taka, Wanda has often spoken out against Inter and her husband’s teammates. Moreover, she is quick to try drum up interest in her husband and client and dish out threats about possibly leaving particularly when contract talks are ongoing with the club.
“Wanda Nara speaks as his wife and not as an agent,” Canovi explained in an interview with RMC Sport.
“The responsibilities are not only hers, but also his and he, as the player, must say what he wants too.”
