Inter and Ivan Perisic will part ways with one another in the Summer and as per a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are already at work to try and find his heir.

The top target is Steven Bergwijn of PSV, while the  alternatives are Filip Kostic of Eintracht Frankfurt or Yannick Carrasco of Dalian Yifang.

Inter also remains in the running for Hirving Lozano, Bergwijn’s PSV teammate, but Napoli and other clubs have done far more work towards him already while Federico Chiesa will be chased if there is an opportunity but Juventus seem to be the only club with the finances to meet Fiorentina’s astronomical valuation.

As part of the report Gazzetta then looked in further detail at Bergwijn, Kostic and Carrasco.

Bergwijn is 21-years-old but already has 87 appearances for PSV. This season he has contributed an impressive 11 goals and 12 assists in 25 league appearances. The Dutch international, like Perisic, can play on either wing but prefers to play on the left so he can cut-in on his right to shoot with his strong foot. PSV are understood to value him at €40 million.

Kostic is 26-years-old and was recently relegated with Hamburg, but after a long Summer full of controversy and multiple agents and family members getting involved, he was finally granted his move to Eintracht on a two year loan with an option to buy fee for €6.5 million. Eintracht will no doubt pay and could even make a capital gain on him this Summer, given his impressive performances.

Finally, as for Carrasco, there is less competition for his signature and he wishes to return to Europe after failing to do so recently.
