Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi has confirmed that coveted midfielder Ismael Bennacer has interest in his services from Napoli, Roma and Inter.

“He is a good player, assessments are made over time. He is a lad born in 1997 and seems already developed, despite having huge potential. He is on a great path of growth, so we must let him work in peace,” he insisted in an interview with Radio CRC.

“We are a financially healthy club, so we are not obliged to sell. Napoli are interested, but it remains to be seen with them.

“He could also end up at Roma, where De Rossi has already told us how much he rates the lad. Daniele asked my staff, ‘where did you find a strong lad like him?’

He concluded: “Then there is also Inter, who have many of my former staff on their books.”

This season Bennacer has made 29 appearances across all competitions in which he has tallied two assists in 2210 minutes on the park.
