Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will never accept Mauro Icardi again, La Repubblica have claimed during their summing up of Inter’s 1-0 loss to Lazio last night.

“Spalletti’s merciless show finally shows that Inter is a strange, unnatural family, with slightly degenerate children and a very strict father, perhaps jealous of them: as soon as one of them raises a problem, he closes him in the closet,” the report reads.

“Spalletti continues to treat Icardi as he did Totti and has no intention of accepting him again. Icardi went against the club and the moral of the story is that Inter were unable to score or even have a shot on target with Keita and Vecino (this time Ranocchia wasn’t there) playing and therefore they deservedly lost and without Handanovic, the best goalkeeper in the league, Lazio would have run riot.”
