According to a report from Corriere della Sera, Inter management have not taken manager Luciano Spalletti’s post-match outburst regarding Mauro Icardi well.

The club, namely chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, has worked long and hard in a bid to solve the problems with Icardi alongside Icardi’s lawyer while current Inter president Steven Zhang and former president Massimo Moratti have also played a part.

The Milan based newspaper believe that Spalletti’s comments could well be interpreted as an attack on the management on top of the player himself.

The report goes on to state that the futures of both Spalletti and Icardi will be spent far away from Milan and at the end of the season both will depart the club.

Antonio Conte is Inter’s number one managerial target but even if he does not take up the job, Inter will appoint a new manager who will have a new striker to rely on.
