Genoa director Giorgio Perinetti has shared his delight for Inter that they have been able to resolve the recent problems with striker Mauro Icardi on the eve of Inter’s trip to face them.

“I am happy for Inter that thanks to the work of Giuseppe Marotta they have been able to brilliantly solve the Icardi problem. Icardi is an important player for the Italian league,” he said in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

“Icardi’s return must be an extra incentive for our team to put in an important performance. We will be playing in our stadium and we call it Mamma Marassi because playing here helps us and guides us by the hand in every game.

“We must try to repeat what we achieved against Juventus here. Icardi will make things more difficult for us but we will have the support of our own fans on our side to help us.”
