Antonio Conte will be the next manager of Inter according to a report from La Repubblica.

The former Italian national team manager will replace Luciano Spalletti at the helm of the Nerazzurri at the end of the current season and Conte is regarded by Inter management as the right person to lead Inter’s project going forward.

Despite being left angered by Spalletti’s outburst after the Lazio game, Inter management are determined for him to see the season out especially given the appreciation the players have shown for Spalletti doing what he did.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on state that while the coaching situation seems sorted, the future of Mauro Icardi at the club still needs to be defined.

One idea that has been suggested in the media is a swap deal between Inter and Juventus that would see them exchange Icardi and Paulo Dybala however the report stresses that Juventus still need to be convinced.
