Legendary Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar has shared his thoughts and feelings on what the end of the season could have in store for Inter.

“There is still a place to be won in the Champions League” he began an interview with Inter’s in house television channel Inter TV.

“It is fundamental that Inter will be able to play the upcoming direct matches at home.  From these matches you will be able to decide whether Inter will have done well or not in the league.”

Cesar, who was part of Inter’s famous treble winning side, then spoke on what he felt cost Inter upon their long awaited return to the Champions League this season.

“I can’t tell if it was down to them having a lack of experience because there are many good and experienced players who are part of their respective national teams.”

The former Brazilian international concluded by heaping praise on current Inter number one Samir Handanovic.

“He is very strong and has been demonstrating that for years now. In my opinion he is among the top five goalkeepers in the world.”
