Former Inter midfielder Luis Figo has spoken on a number of Inter related topics on the sidelines of the presentation of the ”La Notte dei Re’ event that will take place this Summer.

The Portuguese firstly spoke on his fellow countryman Jose Mourinho and a possible return to Inter.

“As a former Inter player I would recommend for him to return to Inter but it is a decision that depends on various things,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the presentation.

He then went on to speak about the recent controversy between Inter and Mauro Icardi: “I was not and I am not in the middle of the situation but the important thing is that in the end the club and the player both understand each other for the good of everyone.

Figo also touched upon former Inter youngster Nicolo Zaniolo who is among the top Italian prospects.

“He’s great, he has a lot of quality. A move to Real Madrid? I’m not following the market much but when it comes to a good player like him, all the big teams want him.”
