Wanda Icardi, the wife and agent, of Inter striker Mauro Icardi has shared her thoughts and feelings on Inter’s goalless draw with Atalanta last night at San Siro.
“Atalanta are a very strong team and I think they played well. It was a good result for both teams,” she said as she appeared on Sport Mediaset football talk show Tiki Taka.
She also shared her delight for her husband who made his second successive start following his return after two months out due to injury.
“We were happy, as a family, to see Mauro doing what he enjoys most. He returned at Genoa and marked it with a goal: I think it was one of his best matches.”
26-year-old Icardi made his 29th appearance of the season across all competitions last night. He has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for teammates in a total of 2544 minutes on the park.
