This year, there have been new personal records for attendances and revenue set at San Siro according to a report from Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter earned an Italian record €5.9 million in revenue from their Champions League group stage clash with Barcelona, a sum of money that will have no doubt helped make up for lost revenue from having to play two games behind closed doors which was their punishment for racist abuse.

Inter have far exceeded a million spectators this season across all of their home games and still have big games with Roma and Juventus to play which will further boost that figure.

The Nerazzurri also boast the highest average attendance in the country with an average of 60,687 attending their matches. Moreover, Inter share the highest overall attendance record during this season of 78,275, which was set during the derby with Milan back in October which Inter won 1-0.
