Former Inter striker Antonio Cassano reckons Inter should stick with Luciano Spalletti as manager amid continued media speculation that he will be moved on at the end of the season.

“In my opinion Inter is right to continue on this road with Spalletti,” the former Italian international said as he appeared on football talk show Tiki Taka late last night.

“Inter is the third strongest team in the league and they cannot do any more than this.”

He then went on to discuss Inter’s next game against Roma and their Champions League qualification hopes.

“The match with Roma next Saturday is decisive. If Inter does not lose then they have done it.”

Heading into next weekend’s clash with the Giallorossi, Inter have a six point gap on the fifth placed capital club and a win would go a long way toward all but securing them their place in next season’s Champions League.
