Paulo Dybala is reluctant to move from Juventus to Inter as part of a swap deal with Mauro Icardi, Corriere dello Sport reported today.

Both clubs would be open to a straight swap this summer as they look to part company with their respective forwards, with both players valued at around €80 million.

Icardi would be happy to move to Turin, but Dybala could prove an obstacle to any deal as he would need to be talked round.

“Paulo has a good relationship with Beppe Marotta who brought him to Juventus, but he also has a profound sense of respect for himself,” the Rome-based publication wrote.

“He chose to stay at Juventus last summer despite the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, he agreed to play further from goal to accommodate him and he agreed to spend more time on the bench.

“Now, though, he wants to decide his future for himself and at the moment he would prefer to stay.”
