Now is the casting time for a new left back for Inter as Dalbert will most likely leave for Dortmund or any other of the teams that fancies him and the Inter management is looking for a replacement to the left side of defence.

During recent weeks the name Nicolas Tagliafico has been surfacing and the Ajax player, who was born in 1992, has been tracked for years by Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti, who knows him well, back to his days in Banfield according to FcInterNews.

According to the report, the last two seasons the player has been closely monitored by Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin, first at Independiente and then at Ajax where Tagliafico has matured this season playing in both the Dutch championship as well as in the Uefa Champions League.

However, at the moment Ajax is not budging and doesn’t seem to want to sell the player, something his agent Ricardo Schlieper confirmed to FcInterNews.

Also Inter need to beware of Spanish giants Real Madrid, who already has made an offer worth €25 million for the player. But for now, Ajax has rejected that offer, but everything points to Florentinpo Perez coming back with a new offensive.

In the meanwhile, Inter continues to monitor the player and is in constant contact with his entourage, represented in Italy by Giovanni and Giacomo Branchini, who on Tuesday evening were in Turin for the Juventus vs Ajax game.

Tagliafico was out due to suspension but will return for the semifinal against Tottenham.
