Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, reports that the long talked about swap between Dybala and Icardi could become a reality.

“Juventus wants to realize the capital gain for the Argentinian who they bought from Palermo, but a direct swap between the two players is still a possibility. Icardi, with his 110 goals in 182 games, doesn’t have to prove himself but should the swap become a reality, Icardi has to adapt to Cristiano Ronaldo just like Karim Benzema had to at Real Madrid.”

“The swap would give both players the ability to further develop a substantial capital gain, but not a cent will go to either club. Juventus bank account is a bit under pressure after the very expensive signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, the club issued a bond  in order to finance the deal, and cash is needed in order to reinvest in the market.”

“Then an agreement for both players has to be found, for Icardi there shouldn’t be any problems since Juventus fights for the Scudetto every year and always qualifies for the knock-out stage of the Champions League, having reached 2 finals the last 5 years. But Dybala who leaves a European top team for a club that cannot guarantee a place in the Champions League nor a shot at the Scudetto, might have an issue going to Milano.”
