After the 1-1 draw against Roma, Inter’s Slovakian central defender, Milan Skriniar stopped by Sky Sport Italia to summarize the Serie A clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

“For what we showed during the second half, I think we deserved to win this game. But unfortunately we didn’t manage to score that second goal.”

Is qualifying for the Champions League crucial for your future?

“For me, on a personal level, it is very important, but it’s the same for the club. The Champions League is the most important thing there is in football and we have to fight until the end in order to qualify.”

What do you need in order to manage to qualify at the end?

“Physical strength is fundamental. There are five games left where we have to pull out just about everything we have, in such a period even the slightest experience could make the difference. Nothing is decided, we still have to give all that we have until the end of the season.”
