Wanda Icardi, the wife and agent of Inter striker Mauro Icardi, has insisted that her husband and client’s future lies with the Nerazzurri despite the recent off-field controversy between him and the club.
“Our family is Inter. We are in Milan and we will stay here. I’m 100% sure about it,” she said in an interview with news agency ANSA.
The 26-year-old striker was stripped of the Inter captain’s armband which led to him refusing to travel with the team for a Europa League match with Rapid Vienna and Wanda went on to discuss the possibility of him regaining the band.
“Will Inter give him back the captain’s armband? Let’s wait and see but if they do not it would not be a problem.”
She concluded the interview by speaking on her relationship’s with people.
“I get along with everyone but for Mauro’s sister. She uses my little girls to do business.”
