On Saturday, Inter will face Juventus at the San Siro and the Bianconeri could be the former Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi’s future.

The Argentinian striker seems to have arrived at the end of his adventure in black and blue and Juventus is one of his potential future destinations, at least according to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Juventus are trying hard for the player’s signature.

“Juventus continues to be one of the possible options for Icardi’s future. According to the latest rumors, Juventus seems to be the preferred option for the Icardi family. Mauro and Wanda could remain in Italy and not very far from Milano, as both of them have strong ties to the city along with them not wanting to put their children through the hassle of a move and distorting their lives.”

“Above all, there would be a jump in quality as Juventus boasts a higher status than Inter. Juventus have the ability to make it far into the Champions League and have the quality to potentially win it and not just participate in it. Icardi will also have a change to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.”

“Before we start to imagine Icardi in a Juventus shirt, there are several details that need to be ironed out. First we know that Inter intend to sell the player, there are no doubts about that, but they are also making it known that he will not be sold on the cheap and that any exchanges will be taken into consideration only if they are deemed advantageous.”

If Juventus want Icardi, they will most probably try to offer a player in exchange The most reported name is that of Paulo Dybala, who just a few days ago stated that he does not want to leave Juventus.

“So what can Juventus offer? Paratici is keeping in touch with Wanda and has previously tried to sign Icardi from Inter without success. There are also other ideas of proposing an exchange with Higuain, however Inter do not seem very keen on this idea.”

“It must be said that Juventus have a stacked striker department. Cristiano Ronaldo is an absolute certainty as a starter. Mandzukic has recently renewed his contract and Juventus are working on renewing Kean’s contract as well. In short, Icardi would be the fourth striker they have. Juventus will need to go through many tactical and technical evaluations before making a decision on the Icardi situation.”
