Should Inter decide to sack manager Luciano Spalletti, they will look to bring in Antonio Conte to replace him according to a report from Tuttosport.

Gabriele ‘Lele’ Oriali, his right hand man whilst in charge of the Italian national team, will also join him to form a formidable partnership on the Nerazzurri bench.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to report that if Inter are unable to lure Conte to the club, they have a few other ideas up their sleeve.

The managerial shortlist, does not contain former manager Jose Mourinho, who is currently out of work but is understood to contain Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Tuttosport recall that prior to Spalletti’s appointment, Inter had actually met with Pochettino to discuss the possibility of taking charge.

Inter could find themselves in a battle with city rivals Milan though, with the Rossoneri reportedly also keen on bringing in the Argentine tactician.
