So long as Luciano Spalletti does not stay, Inter striker Mauro Icardi is convinced that he can stay with the club and repair the damaged relationship according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Icardi’s relationship with Spalletti is severely damaged due to the recent controversy that the 26-year-old attacker has created off the pitch.
On Saturday night, it was clear to see that the pair are at war with one another as neither looked at the other after Icardi was subbed off.
Despite Icardi’s desire to remain, Inter would prefer to move him on. This idea is partly fuelled by the fact contract negotiations have collapsed again and Inter do not wish to lose him for nothing come the end of the 2020/21 season.
Juventus have come into links with Icardi whilst Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are all also potential next destinations for the former Sampdoria man.
