Sebastiano Esposito has shared the immense gratitude that he has for Inter for giving his son, who has the same name, his debut recently and for looking after him.

“We have to thank all the staff at Inter for allowing him to make his debut and for their desire to direct him along the best possible path,” he began an interview with FCInterNews.it.

“We have to thank Roberto Samaden in particular because he always kept his promises. He didn’t tell us lies. We are grateful to La Beneamata but the initial merit is all his.

“Unfortunately I was not at the stadium [to witness his debut] but I can not hide the fact that I shed a few tears. What a thrill.”

The youngster has alleged interest in his services from a host of top clubs including Paris Saint Germain but Sebastiano Sr. insists that the only focus at the moment is Inter.

Sebastiano is also very happy in Milan. Our priority is Inter. We have a contract and we want to respect it. If the club does not decide to sell him, he will remain in the Nerazzurri. Without any doubt. We hear so many rumours about him, but he must stay away from all these rumours.”
