Antonio Conte would be very happy to have Roma’s legendary midfielder Daniele De Rossi at Inter, when he takes over the reigns at the club at the end of this season, Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports.

According to the report, De Rossi could end up at Inter on a free transfer as he is held in high regards by the former Juventus and Chelsea coach, but nothing has been set in stone yet.

“De Rossi was not able to make the decision to stay at Roma, so now he can choose where to go. Without excluding any destinations as when he was asked about staying at Italy he replied: ‘We will see.'”

“A lot of voices have stated that Antonio Conte would be very happy to have De Rossi with him at Inter. An unnamed member of Roma President Pallotta’s entourage has told De Rossi to try and move to a MLS team, in the United Stats. However, De Rossi in such a scenario, De Rossi will only accept a club located in New York or Los Angeles.”
