Alexis Sanchez is desperate to put his Manchester United nightmare behind him by moving to a foreign club this Summer according to a report from British tabloid The Sun.

The Chilean winger has been a major disappointment since his arrival at Old Trafford 18 months ago and the Red Devils want to get his huge wages off their wage bill.

As per the report, he is ready to report to pre-season training a few days early in order to prove he is in top physical condition for the coming season in a bid to attract interest in his services.

In a follow up report, The Sun claim that Manchester United would be so desperate in fact that they would be willing to let him leave the club for free and even help the club who picks him up by paying some of his £505,000 a week wages (approx €575,000).

The 30-year-old, who has drawn links to both Inter and Juventus recently, put together 27 appearances across all competitions in the recently ended season in which he managed just two goals and four assists.
