Inter management are currently pondering making a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente in the upcoming Summer transfer window, according to a report from Tuttosport.

The veteran Spanish forward is expected to leave Premier League Spurs come the end of the season and would therefore be able to sign on a free transfer.

Llorente is no stranger to Italian football having previously played for Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus and incoming Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be well aware just how useful the 34-year-old could be for the team next season.

Llorente is not the only striker of his mould that the club are looking at with Inter also expected to move for Roma forward Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnian’s leadership qualities are highly valued by the Inter management who are hopeful that his qualities could rub off on the rest of the Inter team.

The report from the Turin based newspaper states he could be handed a three year deal by the club, which will expire when he is 36.
