Both the Nerazzurri owners and the club’s directors are close to the squad ahead of Sunday’s important Serie A game against Empoli at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia reports.

The clash with Empoli is not just the final Serie A game of the season but also a deciding fixture regarding if Inter are to take part in the group stages of next year’s Champions League, something that would materialize should the Nerazzurri go home with all three points.

Yesterday Inter President Steven Zhang, was at the club’s training ground in Appiano Gentile, together with Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, Chief Football Operations Officer Giovanni Gardini and Dario Baccin. Today, it was time for the Nerazzurri’s CEO for Sports Beppe Marotta to appear at Appiano Gentile shortly after the team’s training ended, to show his support to the team ahead of the match against Empoli.
