Inter have almost got a deal for Roma striker Edin Dzeko all done according to a report from Sky Sport Italia journalist Angelo Mangiante.

The Nerazzurri have been on the trail of the Bosnian forward for a while now and it is understood that incoming Inter manager Antonio Conte also specifically requested his signing for two reasons.

The first reason is Dzeko scores a lot of goals whilst the second reason is that he contributes a lot more than just goals and gets very much involved in the play.

Inter could move closer to completing the signing of Dzeko in the coming week, the report concludes.

33-year-old Dzeko has been with the Giallorossi since 2016 and made 178 appearances for the club to date, in which he has scored 87 goals and tallied 38 assists.

This season the former Manchester City and Wolfsburg player has made 39 appearances across all competitions. In just over 3100 minutes on the field, Dzeko has scored 14 goals and tallied 11 assists.
