AS Roma’s Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko is not on his way to or in Istanbul to negotiate terms with Turkish Süperlig club Fenerbahce, SempreInter.com can reveal.

The former Manchester City striker has recently been heavily linked with a transfer to Inter as both current Nerazzurri coach Luciano Spalletti and the presumed next coach Antonio Conte, are big admirers of him.

But Turkish media outlet DHA reported earlier today that the Bosnian striker was on a plane to Istanbul to discuss a transfer with Fenerbahce manager Mirsad Türkcan as well as club President Ali Koç later this evening.

However, the player’s agent Irfan Redzepagic, has rubbished these talks in an exclusive interview with SempreInter.com moments ago, stating that the player is on holiday.

“I have heard these reports as well from Turkish media and I don’t know where they come from. He is on holiday right now.”
