Daniele Padelli has agreed to a one-year contract extension with Inter according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The former Torino goalkeeper’s deal with the club was up at the end of the season but he has agreed terms with the club to stay at least until the end of next season with an official announcement sure to arrive shortly.

Padelli will remain as club captain Samir Handanovic’s number one next season despite the club mulling over whether to activate their buy back option on Andrei Radu whilst Gabriel Brazao will also join the club in the Summer.

The 33-year-old has been on Inter’s books since the Summer of 2017 and he has been limited to just two appearances for the club, both of which came in the Coppa Italia. In his two appearances for the club, he has kept one clean sheet whilst he conceded two goals in the other match.
