Lucien Agoume has rejected the advances of several other top clubs to chose Inter according to a report from Tuttosport.

The young French sensation has knocked back interest from Lyon and Barcelona in favour of a €4,5 million Summer transfer window switch to the Nerazzurri.

Agoume, who has been likened to Manchester United’s Paul Pogba due to his playing style, told current employers Sochaux that he did not wish to sign a new contract with the club, with his contract due to expire next Summer. This is the reason the fee is rather low despite the wealth of interest.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that he will train with the first team during pre-season and it will be up to Antonio Conte to decide what his next steps will be after that.

The 17-year-old central midfielder made 16 appearances across all competitions during the 2018/19 season for a total of 943 minutes, in which he was unable to score or assist.
