Torino are interested in signing Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter are understood to value the Italian international between €15-18 million but newly appointed manager Antonio Conte would like to evaluate Gagliardini in pre-season before giving the green light to anything.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that Inter, who are looking for another central defender, could request Armando Izzo as part of a deal.

However, Torino president Urbano Cairo views Izzo as an indispensable player therefore meaning the only way that the Granata could acquire Gagliardini would be through meeting Inter’s demands for him.

During the 2018/19 season, Gagliardini made 21 appearances across all competitions for Inter, who he is under contract with until 2023.

In 1220 minutes on the park, the former Atalanta midfielder scored five goals but was unable to provide any assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
