Antonio Conte has already decided on the four forward players he wants to coach at Inter next season – and Mauro Icardi is not one of them.

Edin Dzeko, Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Politano are considered the ideal quartet to help the Italian implement his 3-5-2 system, according to Sky Sport, opening the door for Icardi to join Juventus or another top European club this summer.

Conte would also like to see Inter sign some Italian players, however, with Federico Chiesa and Nicolo Barella thought to be the primary targets.

“Conte wants his Inter side to have the tactical nous of his Bari team, the winning mentality of his Juventus team, the team spirit of his Italy team and the physical strength of his Chelsea team,” Matteo Barzaghi said today.

“If Icardi were sold his ideal attackers would be Dzeko, Lukaku, Lautaro and Politano, with a question mark hanging over Paulo Dybala’s head.”
