Inter goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio will be looking for a move on loan to a club in Serie B this summer, according to FcInterNews.it.

Di Gregorio was meant to play in Italy’s second tier last summer after agreeing a move to Avellino, but the Irpini went bankrupt last summer and forced him to go down into Serie C instead.

The 21-year-old made 32 appearances for Novara during the 2018-19 campaign, making 12 clean sheets, and is due to return to Inter this summer.

The Nerazzurri must meet with the goalkeeper and his representatives and decide the best step to take next in his career.

Inter could grant Di Gregorio’s wish of a season-long loan in Serie B, should offers arrive for him, but they could also include him as a makeweight in another deal they are negotiating.

Di Gregorio played for Renate in the 2017-18 season after graduating from Inter’s youth academy two years ago, keeping 14 clean sheets.
