Romelu Lukaku has again told Manchester United he wants to leave the club and join Inter this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The forward is said to be ‘impatient’ as he awaits news but Inter face a tough challenge negotiating with the Premier League club, who want €80 million.

Inter first need to sell Mauro Icardi to complete a deal but hope they can finalise an agreement before they play Manchester United in Singapore on 20 July.

Lukaku has made an official move and must now hope the clubs can find a solution which satisfies everyone.

Gazzetta also reported Inter are beginning to ‘lose their patience’ with Roma as talks over Edin Dzeko remain blocked.

Roma have upped their initial asking price to €20-22 million while Inter are only offering €13 million, which they believe is a more reasonable fee after the 33-year-old was signed for €21 million in 2015.

The stall in negotiations is unlikely to lead to the deal falling through, though, given Dzeko agreed to join Inter on a three-year deal worth €5 million back in March.

Antonio Conte sees Dzeko and Lukaku as the perfect centre-forwards to spearhead his 3-5-2 system.
