Nicolò Barella has no intention of performing a U-turn on his decision to sign for Inter, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The midfielder has agreed a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri worth €2.5 million per season, but Cagliari have yet to accept an offer.

Milan are reportedly interested in the 22-year-old but Barella will not have any second thoughts about giving his word to Antonio Conte.

The player’s agent once again reiterated his desire to move to Inter yesterday as Inter and Cagliari continue negotiations.

Inter also have a clean path towards Roma striker Edin Dzeko, with the Rome-based paper reporting no other clubs will get involved there either.

Dzeko has also agreed personal terms with the club but Inter and Roma are currently as far as €10 million apart in their valuations.

The Giallorossi want €22-23 million while Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have not moved past €13 million for the moment.

The clubs have not even managed to agree on a young Inter player they could include in the deal, as a way of bridging the gap.
