No less than €25 million is between Inter and Manchester United in talks for striker Romelu Lukaku according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Manchester United are demanding a sum of €85 million for the 26-year-old striker whilst Inter have made a first offer totalling €60 million.

Lukaku’s desire to play in Serie A are well known with him going on record several times lately professing his desire to play in Italy.

As per some reports, Inter have already reached an agreement in principle over personal terms with the former Everton player, who can also count West Brom, Chelsea and Anderlecht as his former clubs.

The Milan based newspaper’s report would appear to suggest that there has been some progress in talks given in recent days reports from other news outlets were stating a distance of €30 million separated the clubs.

This past season Lukaku netted 15 goals in 45 outings across all competitions for the Red Devils, who he is under contract with until 2022.
