Torino President Urbano Cairo has categorically denied that the Granata are in talks or have showed an interest in acquiring Inter’s Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, when speaking to Italian broadcaster SportItalia.

Cairo’s statements follow rumors that circulated around Italy earlier today, which suggested that Torino were looking into the possibilities of signing the former Roma midfielder.

Cairo killed all these rumors when asked on a live broadcast of SportItalia, if there is any truth to the rumors that Torino were looking into loaning Radja Nainggolan.

“No, we have not even talked about it” Cairo stated short and sweet.

Inter’s chief executive Beppe Marotta spent the entire day in Turin yesterday according to La Repubblica, trying to move Mauro Icardi to Juventus as well as sending Nainggolan out on loan, leading the paper to discuss a possibility of a surprise loan move to Torino.

Nainggolan made 36 appearances in all competitions last season after joining Inter from Roma, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
