Former Inter striker Christian Vieri has admitted he is unsure whether Napoli or Inter have what it takes to dethrone Juventus in Italy this coming season.

“I don’t know, Juve already have Cristiano Ronaldo, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot. Sooner or later though, Juventus will lose the title,” Vieri said in an interview with Sky Sport.

“Napoli and Inter are doing well in the transfer market and are trying to sign important players but it is wrong to compare them to Juventus because you are then putting pressure on the players. Let us see what happens. Juventus are very strong but anything can happen.”

Vieri also commented on Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s admission that Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan are not part of Inter’s plans.

“Beppe Marotta and Antonio Conte have made their decision. If they have decided to change things, it is because they want other types of players.”
