Inter have received a €7 million offer from Championship side Birmingham for their striker George Puscas, according to FcInterNews.it.

Puscas is not particularly enthusiastic about the idea of playing in England’s second tier, although he has taken time to reflect on the offer with his agents Oscar Damiani and Crescenzo Cecere.

Saint-Etienne are the latest club to have expressed an interest from Ligue 1, but they have not submitted an official bid like the Blues have.

Empoli, Fiorentina and Torino have all made unofficial approaches in Serie A, along with Steaua Bucharest, CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow from further afield.

Puscas does not want to move to a club in eastern Europe but it is unclear at the moment which destination he does prefer.

Inter would like to recoup €8-10 million from his sale, so they can reinvest the money into their pursuits for Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku.

Puscas scored nine goals for Palermo in Serie B last year and was due to join the Rosanero permanently last month.

Palermo defaulted on the payment after going bankrupt, though, forcing Puscas to return to Inter for preseason training.
