Former Juventus defender Claudio Gentile spoke to Italian radio station Radio Bianconera, discussing which team he thinks will prove to be the ‘Anti-Juventus’ this season.
“The anti-Juve? Inter more than Napoli.”
He then elaborated on the play of the Nerazzurri and their results in both the league and the Champions League.
“Inter play good football, have good players, and are showing that they can compete for the title. They are having good results also in the Champions League, you have to see what will happen when the direct clashes come.”
Inter are currently second in the league table after eight games, only one point behind rivals Juventus. The only game they dropped points in so far this season was their 2-1 loss to the Bianconeri in the Derby d’Italia earlier this month.
Napoli, on the other hand, are currently fourth in the league after a slightly disappointing start, sitting five points behind the Nerazzurri and six behind the Bianconeri.
