Inter left-back Cristiano Biraghi spoke to Italian broadcaster InterTV following the Nerazzurri’s frustrating 2-2 draw against Parma tonight.

“Let’s say that we didn’t play well in the first half,” he said.

“We took the lead but then we fell foul of our own mistakes. It’s a shame we didn’t take advantage of the opportunities in the second half.

“These things can happen, but they must happen as little as possible, because we are Inter and especially at home we always want to win.

“The two goals we conceded? Football is a team game; it can happen that a single player makes a mistake in a pass, but from here he’ll get goals from it.

“Never point the finger at a particular player. We conceded because of our own mistakes, both today and against Sassuolo.

“Unfortunately, this is a period in which we make mistakes and score goals. In the second half we pinned them back in their area: we’re disappointed because we wanted to win. Luckily we’ll be playing again in three days.”
