Inter coach Antonio Conte spoke to gathered reporters at a press conference tonight after the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 victory over Bologna, with Italian media outlet FcInterNews in attendance.

“A well-deserved victory against a great team like Bologna. We have created a lot, they have a very good goalkeeper. Great proof of maturity and character. We never stopped believing in it and there was a great response from those who were subbed in, giving a good turn to the game. That said, as soon as we get off the train in Milan, we will have to reset everything and prepare for Dortmund. We want to go there and try not to have regrets.”

The 50-year-old Italian coach then touched on Inter’s perfect away record in the league so far this season.

“It’s important, otherwise we wouldn’t be at 28 points. We got there through a lot of work and suffering during the games. Nothing is easy for us, we have to look for everything we want as we did tonight against Bologna.”

“Without this determination to reverse a negative situation, it’s hard to win a game against a great team like Bologna. I was very worried about this match, but we were good at preparing for it well and developing situations that we could even make a little better, especially in the first half. We have to be very happy.”

Finally, Conte touched on the attacking duo of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku, as well as Austrian midfielder Valentino Lazaro.

“I’m happy for Lukaku, for Lautaro. But also, for Lazaro, since everyone criticised him and instead today, we found a new player. He was the first to suffer.”
