Barcelona are incredibly interested in Inter striker Lautaro Martinez and would like to pair him up with Lionel Messi in the club’s attack, but the Nerazzurri have no interest in selling the 22-year-old, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how some were confused when the Nerazzurri put the €111 million release clause in Lautaro’s contract, but now that decision is paying off as it wards away potential interest and only keeps around the most serious of clubs. However, even if an offer of that magnitude did arrive, Inter would still prefer to keep the Argentine forward.

Furthermore, the report adds, the meeting between the two clubs recently was dominated by talk of Lautaro but Inter remained strong and refused to give up their young striker.

Whilst coach Antonio Conte would be interested in either Ivan Rakitic or Arturo Vidal from the Blaugrana, the Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta isn’t keen on signing the 32-year-old Chilean, the report suggests.
