Inter owned striker Eddie Salcedo, currently on loan with Hellas Verona, spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia following the side’s 2-1 victory over Brescia this afternoon, where he scored the opening goal.

“When I first arrived, Juric  talked to me and told me that if he were my coach last year at Inter he would beat me up. Why didn’t I play last year? I was always trying to improve every day, he told me I didn’t do my best.”

“I love the coach; he gave me my debut when I was 15 and I owe him a lot.”

“Finally, the goal has arrived, I hope to continue like this. Me in the national team with Esposito? It’s up to us. We have to be humble and work to make this dream come true. I dedicate the goal to my two grandparents who died a while ago and would have liked to have seen this moment.”
