Inter captain Samir Handanovic spoke to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset yesterday following the Nerazzurri’s tough 2-1 victory over Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

“We have to look at ourselves, do what the coach asks us to do and work day after day to do something important. Tuesday will not be an easy match because they’re a great team at home. All the matches in the Champions League are decisive.”

The Nerazzurri’s 2-1 victory over Bologna saw them remain one point behind Juventus at the top of the league table, with a vital three points keeping up the pressure on the Old Lady, whose victory over Torino in the Turin derby secured their position at the top.

Inter’s next game is against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League next week, a key game if Inter are to progress to the next round of the competition. Both teams are tied in the group, sitting on four points, three points behind group leaders Barcelona.
