Inter coach Antonio Conte is continuing to have squad depth issues, with star midfielder Stefano Sensi set to miss today’s clash against Hellas Verona due to injury, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 24-year-old Italian midfielder is continuing to struggle with the tear in the abductor muscle injury that he suffered against Juventus at the start of October.

Despite playing a shaky 22 minutes against Borussia Dortmund, the 50-year-old Italian coach is keen not to exacerbate the injury and will leave him out against Hellas Verona later today.

Furthermore, the report adds, Conte is set to use the attacking partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez again today, due to a lack of true attacking depth.

Despite his words suggesting that he could start teenage talent Sebastiano Esposito today, it’s likely that the duo will start as the coach doesn’t think today’s game is the right time for the 17-year-old.
