Arturo Vidal is pushing to be reunited with Antonio Conte at Inter according to a report from Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Inter have sparked an interest in signing the 32-year-old Chilean international in the upcoming January transfer window with them desperately wishing to strengthen the midfield department of the team, which has been a real problem area due to several injuries.

Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich has recently met with Barcelona to reiterate his client’s desire to leave for pastures new but Barcelona have no intentions of letting the former Juventus midfielder depart the club in the January transfer window.

As per other reports in the media, Inter are wishing to land Vidal on a loan or loan with option to buy basis. They do not wish to sign him permanently outright due to his age.

This season he has made 17 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored four goals and provided one assist.
